The “Win a Scholar-Sheep” contest (the “Contest”) is organised by PJ College of Arts and Design (“PJCAD”)/ (the “Organiser”).
Contest
- There shall be two Sections under the Contest.
- Section 1 of the Contest is open only to existing PJCAD students and runs from 12:00 am, 31 July 2009 and ends at 9:00 pm on 15 October 2009 (“Section 1 Contest Period”).
- Section 2 of the Contest, is open to the public and runs from 12:00 am, 16 October 2009 and ends at 11:59 pm on 14 May 2010 (“Section 2 Contest Period”). Section 2 of the Contest is open to all Malaysian citizens / Permanent Residents aged 17-23, except PJCAD graduates and leavers (ex-students), employees of the Organiser including its subsidiaries and related companies, the employees’ immediate family members, representatives and/or dealers of the Organiser including advertising agencies, promotion agencies, suppliers and event management agencies, their affiliates and associates, and their immediate family members.
- The Organiser reserves the absolute right to extend any section of the Contest Period, if deemed necessary.
- The Organiser reserves the right to change the contest dates, prizes, contest rules and regulations or change, cancel, terminate and/or suspend this Contest at any time without prior notice.
Entries, Closing Date
- Each section of the Contest (“the “Winner”) shall be judged based on entries uploaded at http://www.creativerampage.com.my/ and submitted to the Organiser by Contestants and which fulfills the following specification and criteria: -

- Dimensions of 300 x 300 pixels.
- Resolution of 72dpi (minimum) to 200dpi (maximum).
- Maximum filesize of 1MB.
- JPEG or PNG format Thumbnail
- Dimensions of 80 x 80 pixels
- Resolution of 72dpi (minimum) to 200dpi (maximum).
- PNG format only.

- Each contestant is allowed to submit only ONE (1) entry.
- CLOSING DATE FOR SECTION 1 of the Contest shall be 9.00 pm on 15 October 2009.
- CLOSING DATE FOR SECTION 2 of the Contest shall be 11.59 pm on 14 May 2010.
- The Organiser reserves the absolute right to cancel, change, suspend or extend the closing date of both Sections of the Contest, if necessary.

- By participating in the Contest, a contestant hereby warrants that all information submitted is true, current and complete and agrees that all uploaded designs are his/ her original creations and do not contain copyrighted clip art, visuals, vectors or any art-related elements. PJCAD will not be held responsible for infringement of any copyrighted, trademarked or registered art by a Contestant or due to entry submitted by a Contestant.
- Contestants must not submit offensive, pornographic, obscene, criminal or adult themes, links or images. The Organiser reserves the right to decide what constitutes disqualification, deletion, suspension, or banning within both Sections of the Contest.
- An entry is submitted without the Contestant’s full name, NRIC number, contact details or adherence to the criteria and specifications set in point 1 shall be disqualified.
- The Organiser reserves the absolute right to disqualify entries which do not conform to the above prescribed Contest entry criteria.
- To qualify for the scholarship, Winners must meet the minimum academic qualification SPM level with 3 credits or its equivalent as stipulated by the Ministry of Higher Education.

Consolation Prize Winners shall be chosen from either Section 1 or Section 2 of the Contest:

- Prizes are not redeemable or exchangeable for cash nor transferable to another person. The Organisers reserve the right to change the prizes for another of equal value without prior notice.
- Contestants can check for names of all winners which shall be posted on PJCAD’s website at: www.pjcad.edu.my All winners must claim their respective prizes at the stated venue within SIX (6) months from the date of notification. All unclaimed prizes will be forfeited and no correspondence or appeal will be entertained. The Organiser will not be held liable in the event of non-receipt or delayed delivery of the postal notification to the winner(s). All costs incidental to the redemption of prizes shall be solely borne by the winners.
- Mystery Gifts are to be redeemed at the PJCAD campus office only.
- When claiming their prizes, winners will be required to present identification which contains the winner’s photo (e.g. NRIC, Passport, Drivers License) and original submitted artwork for verification.
- Any taxes, if any, levied upon the prizes shall be the sole responsibility of the winners.
Judging
- Judging criteria for the Grand Prize shall be based on:

- Judges are made up of members of the organising committee, which include personnel from the Organiser.
- In a case where a dispute may arise other than in relation to the judges’ decision on the winners of the Contest, the decision of the Organiser is final and binding and no appeal will be entertained.
- By participating in this Contest, contestants have agreed to be bound by the Terms & Conditions of the Contest and the decision of the judges. The judges' decisions on all matters are final and binding and no correspondence or appeal will be entertained.
Liabilities
- Contestants shall assume full liability and responsibility in case of any accident, injury, death, damage, mishap, loss or claim suffered or resulting from their participation in this Contest, including redemption and / or utilisation of their prizes. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any liability, accident, injury, death, damage, mishap, loss or claim suffered by Contestants in any manner whatsoever.
- The Organiser and their appointed agencies make no warranties or representations whatsoever with respect to the prizes and will not be held responsible or liable for any problem and/or damage thereto or arising therefrom.
- PJCAD and their appointed agencies will not be responsible or liable for:
- Any problem, loss or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by any party due to any delay and/or failure in receiving and sending entries as a result of any network, communication or system error, interruption and/or failure experienced by the participating internet line/mobile phone data line and/or resulting from participation or the downloading of any materials in this contest.
- Any problem, damage or loss of whatsoever nature to any participant(s), or their authorised representatives resulting from their participation in this contest.
- Any error (including notification of the Winner), omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, Internet line failure, theft, destruction, or unauthorized access of entries, hardware or software malfunction whether or not arising during operation or transmission as a result of server malfunction, virus, bugs or other

Intellectual Property Rights & Use of Entries
- Contestants unconditionally agree that each participating entry submitted to the Organiser shall be deemed the exclusive property of the Organiser and will not be returned.
- Each contestant hereby agrees that the Organiser (and third parties authorised by the Organiser) may make any and all entries (or the contents thereof) available on the website and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, which may include other internet sites, mobile, television and/or radio and that entries may be made available with advertising and/or sponsorship.
- Participation in this Contest constitutes an irrevocable permission and non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right for the Organiser to use, publish the entries, any participants’ names, pictures or entries for purposes of publicity, advertisement and marketing communication without any compensation or notification to the participants. Additionally, contestants hereby agree and acknowledge that the Organiser may, in its sole discretion, display the screenshot of submitted entries, in whole or in part, distorted in character or form
- The Organiser does not guarantee to use or otherwise make available any entry. The Organiser may also, in appropriate circumstances, and at its sole discretion, reject, edit, remove or disable access to Entries that appear to be legally or otherwise problematic e.g. infringe the copyright or other intellectual property or privacy rights of others, are defamatory etc. or for any other reason.
Data Protection and Publicity
- Winners may be requested to take part in promotional activity and the Organiser reserves the right to use the names and addresses of winners, their photographs and audio and/or visual recordings of them in any publicity.
- Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Malaysia data protection legislation. Data relating to the contestants will be retained by the Organiser for a reasonable period after the Contest closes to assist the Organiser to operate the Contest in a consistent manner and to deal with any queries on the Contest.
Variations in Terms & Conditions
- The Contest Terms & Conditions are prepared in English and Bahasa Malaysia. In the event of inconsistencies between any of the languages / words used, the English version of the Terms & Conditions shall prevail.
Jurisdiction
- The Contest and the terms and conditions will be governed by Malaysia law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
